Invocation:

Dearly beloved we are gathered here to unite BRIDE and GROOM in marriage. This contract is not to be entered into lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.


Declaration of Intent:

Do you GROOM, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and for, for richer or poorer keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live? If so, answer 'I do'.


Do you BRIDE, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and for, for richer or poorer keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live? If so, answer 'I do'.



Pronouncement:

If there is anyone present who may show just and lawful cause why this couple may not be legally wed, let them speak now or forever hold their peace. By the authority vested in my by the State of California, I now pronounce you both husband and wife.
